Just 5 easy steps gets you going!
(1) Create a
duplicate specification for faxing purposes only using
the built-in specification creator
(2) Create
a PCX image of your pre-printed forms, or get your
pre-printed form electronically scanned
(3) Print
your statements, orders, order confirmations, invoices
etc. to a FILE instead of the printer. In a
network situation each workstation (WS) sends their file
to a common directory on the server. (ie. ACCPAC P/O, OE,
AR)
(4) For a
network setup, the workstation with the fax modem runs
ACCFAX and sends all the jobs (faxes), that are waiting
in the queue for everyone
(5) Once a
file is ready simply go into ACCFAX and select
"Send Faxes". You can send either one fax
batch (ie. AR only), or all the fax batches. (ie. OE,
PO, AR)
Better
yet... If you have an old
machine such as a 386 or 486 just collecting dust, make
it into an ACCFAX fax server and use our built-in macro
to poll the network subdirectory automatically and send
the faxes.
