ACCFAX: Putting it Together

• Fax Modems:
  • Supports most, including Class 1, 2, Pure Data Satisfaxtion, and CAS compatibles.
    **Special Note: ACCFAX does not work with the new Winmodem type fax modems, which are for pure Windows applications, and do not recognize DOS products. Make sure the fax/modem is 16 bit, ISA compliant.
    
  • For high volume reliability we recommend MultimodemZPX - ISA (model#: MT5634ZPX) internal fax/modem because of the built-in processor.
    
  • For operating unders Windows95 we recommend the above modem also because of the ISA/DOS compatibility. You are also required to setup the following script.

• System Requirements:
  • IBM or compatible, 286 -486
    Special Note: ACCFAX does not work well with Pentium type machines or higher. The reason stems from the IRQ and Port assignments built-in to the systems. Our ACCFAX product can only recognize as high as COM port 3, and most sophisticated machines automatically assign a higher port for fax/modem communication.
    
  • DOS version 4.0 or higher
  • Hard disk space 1-25 MB (varies by volume)
  • 4 Meg RAM recommended
  • ACCPAC Plus Windowing System Manager 6.1 or greater
  • 132 column printer (optional)
  • Any version of ACCPAC Plus or Access product
  • A supported fax board
  • Running under Windows
