ACCFAX: New v6.4a - Feb 2001

Thanks very much for your support of our product. We hope you will find the new features and improvements an asset to your company. We have made a number of exciting changes to the ACCFAX program due to requests from current endusers.

The following are the new features and enhancements to ACCFAX from version 6.3b:

• New dialing capabilities
  • ACCFAX has been upgraded to handle the new dialing structures presented in the Toronto area code split. ACCFAX now allows for 10 digit dialing, within the same area code, for a specified split between local and long distance calls. This method will probably become more wide spread as large metropolitans expand.
    To set this: Select #3 - Housekeeping, #1 - Edit Company Profile, Select EDIT. Set the Use 10-digit dialing with local calls to: YES. Make sure any changes are also reflected in option#5 - Add/modify/delete exchanges
    
• Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus version 7.0 of WSM and A/R
  • This version supports the new ACCPAC Plus version 7.0 for WSM and A/R file structures. Prior ACCPAC Plus versions are still supported under this ACCFAX version.
    

• Works under Windows 95 and 98
  • In order for ACCFAX to work under Windows95 and 98 you must correctly set up your system by following these instructions.
    
• Compatibility with ACCPAC Plus version 6.5 of WSM, I/C and A/R
  • This version supports the new ACCPAC Plus version 6.5 for I/C and A/R file structures. Prior ACCPAC Plus versions are still supported under this ACCFAX version.
    
• New Feature - Block Deletion of Faxed Jobs
  
  • A new block delete feature was added to the resend jobs option. This now allows you to select all or some of your fax jobs that have been sent and delete them, versus deleting each fax job one at a time.
    
  • Operation:
    Select Review Fax Batch Status'. To delete more than one job, mark each job that you want to delete with the SPACEBAR. The job will place a small tick mark next to it when it is marked. Then press the DELETE key to delete all the marked jobs. A warning message will be displayed and a confirmation to delete all marked jobs is prompted for.
    

ACCFAX: New Version 6.3a - June 1998

The following are the new features and enhancements to ACCFAX from version 6.2a:

 

• Year 2000 Compatible
  

   

  • All program screens in ACCFAX now show 4 digit years. All ACCFAX programs have been updated to support dates for year 2000 and greater.
    
• Now more fonts!

   

  • 10 CPI and 16 CPI fonts have been added. Now it is easier then ever to duplicate your invoice and order specifications.
    
• Now displays SEND and RESEND status while faxing
  

   

  • Now while you are faxing ACCFAX will display the SEND and RESEND fax status so you know exactly who it is going to at that moment, and when it is done.
    
• 2 advanced options in Company Profile Setup
  

   

  • Use Extended or Expanded Memory

     

    • If your system is setup for it you can use EMS/XMS capabilities to eliminate any memory problems when sending large jobs or faxes. It also helps while running under DOS mode in Windows 95.

     

  • Enable Fax Time-outs
    
    • This will protect you against any problems that may cause the phone line to remain open on a long distance call. It will hang up after 3 minutes.
• Improved Multi-Tasking
  

   

  • Eliminates most common fax board problems related to timing.
