Your evaluation copy of Bravo-HRS contains a sample company with 9 employees already set up for you. This allows you to review all the functions in the system. Because this is an evaluation copy it requires the following to install;
1. Before you can install the evaluation copy you must unzip the self-extracting EXE
to a floppy diskette so that it can be recognized in the normal installation manner of the ACCPAC Windowing System Manager.
2. For simplicity make a temporary directory so that the file is easy to find. ie. CD\HREVAL
3. Using the Windows 3.11 or greater "RUN" command, type the following; C:\HREVAL\HREVALC.EXE - this will load the Windows unzip utility. (Special Note: If you are loading the U.S. version replace the above .exe filename with HREVALU.EXE. Also make sure this is the path you created in option #2.)
4. Once the utility is loaded, make sure the following
fields are specified, and that you have a blank floppy
diskette in your drive A: so that it can create an
ACCPAC installable disk.
SELECT ALL - the highlighter will select all the
files available
EXTRACT TO PATH: A:\ (Make sure this is set
to the floppy drive)
"Append Original Path" - make sure this option is
toggled an an "X" exists in the box.
EXTRACT ITEMS FROM ZIP.
It will be extracting all the files and creating an ACCPAC installable diskette.
4. Once this is completed, take the new diskette, and label it Bravo-HRS Eval. Then you can proceed to the ACCPAC W.S.M. "F3" install command, and follow the tour guide included by printing readhr.htm
Run Bravo-HRS as you read over the guide.
Please note you are not able to create data with the demo disk.
