The following are the new features and enhancements to LW from version 6.2a:

• New Company Profile option - "Use a default GL Reference Y/N"
  • This option when set to "NO" will allow the reference field of all transactions to pass through to the GL unchanged. By setting this option to "YES", Landware resets the transaction reference to LLxxxx, where xxxx are the first letters of the company name.
    

• New Generate Rental Increase option - "Update maximum legal rent Y/N"
  • This option when set to "YES" will check the maximum legal rent in the unit and can update it if the new rent is larger than the current maximum rent. When this option is set to "NO", no updating of the maximum legal rent is done.
    

• Year 2000 Compliant
  • Updated and tested dates for all procedures. Screens and reports have been updated to display 4 digit years. A number of screens and reports have been updated to show 4-digit years where space permits and to effectively handle conversions.
    

• ACCPAC Windowing System Manager v7.0 compatible
  • Compatible now for both version 6.5 and v7.0 of ACCPAC Windowing System Manager.
    

• New option on Rental Increase Report - "Show only units increased in effective month Y/N"
  • When this report option is set to "YES", only those units that have an increase in the efffective month that the report is set to will be displayed, "NO" will have the effect of showing all units within the range from now to the effective date that have a rental increase..
    

• Arrears Aging Report
  • Grand total was being reset in some circumstances. This has been adjusted.
