Shipping Management Link (SML)


- For ACCPAC Plus Order Entry
  • Shipping Management Link Defined:

     

    • SML provides a seamless interface between ACCPAC Order Entry and an external shipping manifest management system. The external system is typically responsible for choosing the shipper, calculating the freight and insurance charges, and often determines the quantity shipped. The SML link product includes many features which save time, eliminate rekeying errors and operational delays.
  • Features:

       

    • A complete interface between ACCPAC Plus Order Entry system an external shipping system.

       
    • Provides on-line access to sales orders entered into ACCPAC Plus Order Entry system through the SM Link quickly and accurately with no re-keying.

       
    • Able to transfer shipping charges entered into the external shipping system to the ACCPAC Order Entry program ensuring complete capture of all charges.

     
  • How Shipping Management Link Works

     
  • Interface Requirements:

     

    • Shipping Management Link can interface with any shipping system that has an ASCII file import and export. Examples include; U.P.S., Pitney Bowes, and Scan Code.

  • Serial Number Upload - Optional Module:

     

    • Allows serial numbers to be captured by the Shipping Systems and uploaded to the ACCPAC user.

      Allows item substitutions and additions from a warehouse.
